There’s a special kind of magic that happens when you row with

Martha’s Moms

It’s felt long before the first race and long after the last stroke.  It’s the quiet thrill of pushing off the dock before sunrise, the boats gliding over glassy water as the city slowly wakes up. It’s the rhythm of eight bodies moving as one, the shared effort, and the moment when everything clicks and the boat simply flies.  But the magic goes far beyond the water.  It lives in the encouragement before practice, the laughter on the dock, and the deep bonds formed through early mornings and hard-earned victories.

With Martha’s Moms, you’re surrounded by women who show up for the team, for the sport, and for each other season after season.  Rowing with Martha’s Moms means belonging to something bigger than yourself: a legacy of strength, resilience, joy, and friendship powered by legs, fueled by heart, and carried forward one stroke at a time.

Why We Row

Martha's Moms Rower

"The synergy of physical exercise with the feel of a boat rowing well together and flying. The regular routine, being on the water under the open sky, laughing and giving our all as teammates."

Martha’s Moms Rowing Club is a rowing club in Seattle, Washington.  Over the decades, the club has grown into a competitive masters women’s crew that trains and races regularly out of the Lake Washington Rowing Club, competing in local, national, and international regattas with a strong tradition of camaraderie and success.
